As the lead for Pacific Northwest business development for Degenkolb Engineers, Kenda Salisbury, FSMPS, CPSM, is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic growth efforts across the region. With more than 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, Kenda specializes in developing and leading client development strategy. Kenda has been successful in mentoring and incentivizing technical professionals to build and strengthen their client relationships and build business. Kenda was named a Fellow of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in 2019 and has been a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) for more than 15 years.

Kenda is an active member of SMPS, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineers (WSSHE). She is a founding member of Building Women, an organization focused on the education and growth of women in the healthcare design and construction industry. Kenda serves as a member of the Standing Advisory Committee for Harborview Medical Center, acting as a community advocate for the hospital’s design and construction projects.

In her free time, Kenda enjoys exploring new ideas, pretending to organize her life, and spending time with her cocker spaniel, Murphy.
