Building Women is an organization dedicated to nurturing the growth and success of women in today’s healthcare design and construction industry by providing opportunities for professional development, networking, and mentorship. Through a variety of workshops, events, and social gatherings, Building Women offers a platform for enriching professional development and personal growth, while also facilitating relationships and encouraging camaraderie.
FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS COME GREAT THINGS
Before Building Women became a formal organization, we were just a small group of women who shared war stories at happy hour. That first get-together left us all feeling a sense of unity, support, and deepened friendship that can often be hard to find in today’s busy world.
Today our group includes more than 100 remarkable women in the healthcare design and construction industry from across the greater Seattle area. Our members include owners, general contractors, architects, designers, engineers, project managers, strategic planners, marketers, business developers, and many more! From all facets of the industry, we come together with a set of common goals: to learn from, grow with, and stand beside brilliant, determined, well-respected women.
